The young man allegedly led a sophisticated group that specialized in stealing corporate data and cryptocurrency, amassing control over 391 bitcoins valued at more than $27 million. His arrest took place at Palma de Mallorca airport as he was attempting to flee Spain on a charter flight bound for Naples.

The investigation began in late May following a request from the FBI’s Los Angeles office to Spanish authorities, suspecting the British citizen’s presence in Spain. It was established that he had entered the country through Barcelona’s El Prat airport. The FBI issued an International Arrest Warrant, prompting intensified efforts to locate and apprehend him, ultimately leading to his capture in Palma de Mallorca.
