New Direct Flights from Spain to the USA and Brazil
If you want to travel somewhere new, Iberia has just made it easier. They are starting three new direct flights from Spain to the USA and Brazil. Whether you want a family holiday, a beach break, or just to see a new place, these flights open up some great options.
Fly Straight to Orlando
From October 26, 2025, Iberia will fly four times a week from Spain to Orlando. Orlando is famous for its theme parks like Disney World and Universal Studios. It’s a great place for families and anyone who loves fun and adventure. Now you can get there without long stops or changes.
Iberia EspañaVisit Recife: A Beautiful City by the Sea
Starting December 13, 2025, Iberia will fly three times a week to Recife in Brazil. From February 2026, there will be five flights a week. Recife is a city in the northeast of Brazil known for its beaches and rich history. It has a mix of old and new parts, with colorful buildings and colonial churches you can visit.
The city has many nice beaches, like Boa Viagem, where you can swim, relax, or try local food at the beachside bars and restaurants.
Recife is also called the “Venice of Brazil” because it has many rivers, bridges, and canals. You can take boat trips to explore these waterways and see the city from a different view.
If you like culture, check out the Recife Antigo area, the old part of the city. It has museums, art galleries, and historic sites. There are often street markets and music events here too.
For something special, visit the nearby town of Olinda, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It’s full of colorful houses, churches, and has great views over the ocean. Olinda is famous for its big carnival celebrations, one of the best in Brazil.
Don’t forget to try local food in Recife. Dishes often include fresh seafood, tropical fruits, and traditional Brazilian flavors. A must-try is bolo de rolo, a sweet cake that’s a local favorite.
Iberia EspañaGo to Fortaleza
From January 19, 2026, Iberia will fly three times a week from Spain to Fortaleza, and four times a week from February.
Fortaleza is a big city on Brazil’s northeast coast. It’s famous for its long sandy beaches where you can relax, swim, or try water sports like surfing and kiteboarding. The weather is warm all year, so it’s a great place to visit anytime.
You can visit the Beira Mar Avenue, a popular spot by the sea with markets, restaurants, and places to walk or ride a bike. It’s perfect for a stroll in the evening.
If you like culture, Fortaleza has museums and historic places to explore. The Dragão do Mar Center of Art and Culture is a fun place with art, music, and a cinema.
Don’t miss trying some local food. Fortaleza is known for dishes with fresh seafood and tropical fruits. A popular dish is carne de sol (sun-dried beef) served with beans and rice. Street markets are a good place to taste local snacks.
Fortaleza is also a good starting point if you want to explore nearby towns, like Canoa Quebrada, famous for its beautiful cliffs.
