Man Killed in Bull Incident During Easter Festival in Spain

A 69-year-old man has died after suffering injuries in a bull-related incident during a festival in the town of Dos Aguas, Valencia. The incident happened on Friday morning, April 18, according to emergency services.

The man was struck by a bull and suffered serious wounds to his chest and leg, along with a head injury that left him in a coma. He was flown by medical helicopter to La Fe Hospital in Valencia, where he later died.

Emergency services were called at around 8:30 a.m., and a medical team was sent to the scene. The incident happened during a traditional Easter celebration in the town.

As a mark of respect, the Dos Aguas Town Hall has cancelled all planned events for the rest of the Easter weekend. The local community is now in mourning.

Festivals involving bulls continue to be held across many parts of Spain, though incidents like this often raise concerns about public safety and the risks involved.

Local authorities have not released further details. An investigation is expected to take place.
